Finally! For all you Twilight fans out there, Summit Entertainment has begun casting the movie (yes!) for pre-production begins in February. Isn't this wonderful news? Kristen has been my favorite nominee, so I am thrilled she has the role. Stephenie Meyer optioned for Danielle Panabaker, but I didn't think that Disney needed to take over yet another part of our world of entertainment. Kristen is awesome and totally deserves it.
You know what this means, right? They're going to have to cast Edward pretty soon if they're starting pre-production in two months. Yay! I can't wait. He might be incredibly horrible and painfully wrong, but also amazingly perfect. I don't know what to expect. : [

*ahem* IT IS!! It occured to me the other day that almost everywhere I turn I am faced with another product that the wonderful world of disney has rolled out. I'm not totally done with Disney, I still love the classics, but Disney channel is getting a little boring. And repetitive. Oh my goodness! Every episode is repeated about twice every day. And I still love High School Musical.
Some of the "big stars" came from Disney, and that is sort of irritating. It doesn't give any other young actors/musicians even the slightest chance. That's the unfair part of it all. That's why I am extrememly happy that Kristen got it and not Danielle.

I'm nervous that they'll get Jacob all wrong.
I'm sort of curious to find out who they'll cast for the rest.
Some guy off Harry Potter is supposed to play Edward if you go to IMDb it tells you who they have cast for Edward right now. Which completely sucks because it's not at all what i thought he should look like but hey i'm just a reader and soon to be viewer what do i know??
I adore that Kristen got bella. i can't really see Danielle panabaker as Bella, but Kristen i can totally see as Bella and i did just to test i was reading some of New Moon where bella and edward were and i pictured Kristen as i read and i was like PERFECT
that guy from harry potter they've cast for Edward on the other hand... I didn't like him.
I thought they should pick someone far more gorgeous than that guy.
I mean the way stephenie describes Edward in New Moon it's clear that he's of god-like status in Bella's eyes and that he should be completely and nearly impossibly gorgeous. The guy they picked just didn't do that for me.
I'm also afraid of them getting the other roles all wrong.
Like some said Jacob.
But also the others.
Jasper, Emmet, Alice, Rosalie, Esme, Carlisle, Laurent, Victoria, James, Charllie, Renee, Billy, Quil, Sam, Paul, Jared, Embry, Emily, you know? the rest of them.
They got Bella perfect in my own opinion.
Certainly failed at finding an amazing edward, i would have prefered Tom Sturridge or someone that looked closer to what i'd imagined.
And i do hope they don't screw up the other ones.
But it's not supposed to be done until 2009 so maybe they'll get a better Edward for us ^_^ I do hope so.
I love it that Kristin got the part of bella. Personally, i don't think that disney channel actors or actresses could really play a good role in a movie like this.

But i guess i'll find out if he does good in 2009.

Well I have to say that they did pick the wrong person to play Jacob. Why is it that in every movie at least someone is the wrong person to play a role?
his name is Robert Pattinson not "that guy from Harry Potter that they chose to play Edward" he's perfect, and bueatiful in everyway and you are jealous ugly people who need to grow up and just wish that you had Edward as your FREAKING BOYFRIEND SO HA!
